Kumuao publishes Kumuao Bench, an open benchmark that scores AI models on child-safety dimensions, and is building Ask Kumuao, a counsellor for parents. Today this site offers the public leaderboard, our methodology and roadmap, and a waitlist for the beta. These terms cover your use of the site and the waitlist.
Please use the site in good faith. Don't scrape it with automated tools beyond reasonable limits, don't submit other people's email addresses or bogus signups, don't attempt to break, overload, or probe the site or its API, and don't misuse our published test cases to harden a model against the very safety patterns the benchmark measures. We rate-limit and may block abusive traffic.
Bench scores are a measurement, not a certification. They reflect model behaviour under specific test conditions at a point in time, and they will shift as models and our methodology evolve. A high grade means "less likely to fail under these conditions" — it is not a promise of safety for any specific child or conversation. Pair the data with your own judgment and, when it matters, a licensed professional. See our methodology & disclosure for the full picture.
Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee access or a price — it's an expression of interest, and beta invitations roll out as capacity opens. When Ask Kumuao launches paid plans, we'll publish clear pricing, billing, and cancellation terms before you're ever charged, and you'll be able to cancel at any time. Nothing here obligates you to pay for anything.
The Kumuao name, brand, site design, and written content are ours. Our benchmark test cases, rubrics, and harness are released under the licence stated in the open-source repository — follow that licence when you use them. Model names and trademarks referenced on the leaderboard belong to their respective owners; we reference them for comparison and commentary.
The site and benchmark are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kumuao is not liable for decisions made on the basis of leaderboard results, for misinterpretation of grades, for misuse of our test cases, or for outcomes produced by any third-party AI we score. Your use of the site is at your own risk.
We may update these terms as the product grows; the date at the top reflects the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes.
