Terms of Service

Effective October 23, 2026

These terms govern your use of Kumuao.ai ("Kumuao", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Kumuao.

Who can use Kumuao

You must be at least 13 to create an account, and if you are under 18 a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. Children may play games under the supervision of an adult account holder. You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email and Google account secure.

AI-generated content

Games are created automatically by artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) from what you type, and voices are AI-generated. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unexpected. Please check important facts, especially in games for children, and do not rely on games as professional advice. Report anything wrong with "Report a problem" on the game.

Plans and billing

New accounts include a small number of free games.
Paid plans (Basic and Pro) are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe at the price shown on the Pricing page. They renew automatically each month until cancelled.
You can cancel or switch plans at any time with Manage billing on the Pricing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your plan until then.
If a game fails to build, the game it would have used is returned to you. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments for a billing period already started are not refunded.
We may change prices with advance notice; a new price applies from your next billing period.

Acceptable use

Please do not use Kumuao to:

create anything illegal, hateful, harassing, violent, sexually explicit, or harmful to children;
infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
get around usage limits, share accounts to avoid paying, or overload or disrupt the service;
scrape the site, or probe or attack its security or the sandbox games run in.

We may decline requests, remove games, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You keep any rights you have in the topics and feedback you submit. As between you and us, you may use the games generated for you for personal, educational and classroom purposes, and we claim no ownership of them. You give us permission to store, process and display your requests and games as needed to run the service, and, for games you choose to share, to show them publicly on Kumuao. Because games are generated by AI, similar games may be generated for other users.

Our content and copyright

If you believe a game or other content on Kumuao infringes your copyright, email hello@kumuao.ai with: your contact details; a description of the work; the link to the content; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them; and your physical or electronic signature. We will review it promptly and remove infringing content.

Ending your account

You can stop using Kumuao at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@kumuao.ai. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limits of liability) continue to apply.

Disclaimers and liability

Kumuao is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that games will be accurate, error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email or on the site. Continuing to use Kumuao after a change means you accept the new terms.
